Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to InfoSlides ("Service"), a digital signage platform. This Service is owned and operated by Artor ehf., a limited liability company incorporated in Iceland with its registered office at Jörfalind 21, 201 Kópavogur, Iceland (SSID: 690802-3410). Throughout these Terms, Artor ehf. may be referred to as 'the Company', 'we', 'us', or 'our'.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Payment Processing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

When you purchase a subscription or any paid feature through InfoSlides, your payment is processed by Paddle. By completing a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

InfoSlides offers subscription-based plans. By subscribing:

• You authorize recurring charges at the then-current rate for your selected plan.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
• You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings.

All billing is handled by Paddle as described in Section 2. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, display, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
• Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these Terms.
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Content Ownership

Your Content: You retain all rights to content you upload to the Service, including presentations, images, and media. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display that content as necessary to provide the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and documentation, is owned by InfoSlides and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavor to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the Service, you consent to such processing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artor ehf shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Artor ehf, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
• We may retain your data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations.
• You may request export of your content before termination takes effect.

12. Data Retention and Deletion Clauses

Termination and Data Portability: > Upon the expiration of a free trial or the cancellation of a paid subscription, your access to the Service will be restricted. Artor ehf. provides a grace period of 30 days from the date of termination or trial expiry during which you may export your Workspace data. After this period, Artor ehf. reserves the right to permanently delete all data associated with the account without further notice. It is the Workspace owner's sole responsibility to ensure all data is backed up or exported prior to the end of this grace period.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Iceland.
