Most of what you can do on the slideshow page can now be done by an AI agent or script too. "Turn off the news ticker in the lobby" and "hide the Christmas slide from the 27th" now have something to call.
Find a screen by name and see what is on it
Ask for the lobby screen and get the slideshow it is playing right now, a link that shows it in any browser, and whether the latest changes have reached it. Every slide comes with a thumbnail.
Edit, hide, retime and delete single slides
Works for presentation pages, media and live data slides alike. Agents can also replace a slideshow's file with a new version, or delete a slideshow. Destructive actions are marked as such, so an agent knows to confirm first.
Slideshow settings, slide conditions and time zone
Ticker, clock, default slide time and sharing can be changed. Conditions now cover date ranges, hide rules and "any of these", and an agent sees every condition on a slide, including the ones you set up on the web. "Take this slide down on 6 January" becomes a date condition, so nobody has to remember to come back. The workspace time zone and language can be set when an agent creates the workspace, so a London cafe's "breakfast menu until 11" no longer runs on Icelandic time.
Pair, play and take over a screen
An agent can pair the TV in front of you from the QR code on its screen, and "play my Q1 slides on the lobby screen" is now a single request. A slideshow can take over a screen until a set time, after which the screen returns to its schedule by itself. Takeovers show on the device page, where you can end one early. When a request is unclear, such as two slideshows with similar names or a screen that is offline, the agent gets ready-made choices to put to you instead of guessing.
Time slots, team members and play reports
Agents can set up time-of-day schedules, invite a colleague to the workspace, create and edit content sources, and answer "how much did the summer promo play?" with minutes per screen per day. All of it works from Claude, Cursor and other MCP apps, and from the command line.
What this means for you: you can manage your screens by asking, and the agent sees the same settings and conditions you see on the web.
