Your Brand Guide

A new Brand page, found under Workspace in the main menu, is where you write down how your company looks and sounds: colours, fonts, logos for light and dark backgrounds, voice, preferred and banned phrases, picture style, layout and a reference file. Slides made after that follow it.

See it before you rely on it

Show sample slides draws eight slides from the values on the page, saved or not: a title slide, a text slide, a big number, a picture with logo, your logo on light and dark backgrounds, a news ticker and a clock.

Confirm, track and restore

Edits stay drafts until a workspace admin confirms them, and only the confirmed version is used for slides. The page shows which version is in use, who confirmed it and when, and lists earlier versions. An old version can be put back as a draft.

Your own fonts

Upload your company fonts (woff2, TTF or OTF, up to 2 MB each, up to 8 per workspace) and pick them as the heading or body font. You confirm that you hold a licence to use the font on the web and on displays.

Slides follow the guide

Once a guide is confirmed, AI Studio writes in your voice and uses your colours and fonts, and the Slide Designer starts new slides from your background colour and header band. Dynamic slide templates can pick up your colours, fonts and logos and change with the guide. The news ticker and the on-screen clock take their colours from it too, unless you have set them yourself.

Brand check

A check shows where a slideshow drifts from the guide: colours outside your palette, text that is hard to read on its background, a missing logo, banned phrases and fonts that are not yours. It is advice only and changes nothing.

Keep content managers inside the guide

An admin can switch on a setting that limits content managers to the guide's palette and fonts in the Slide Designer, and refuses designs that break the rules. Admins are never limited. The setting is off by default.

Workspace details

After a guide is confirmed, the Branding panel on Workspace Details shows a read-only summary with a link to the Brand page. The workspace logo and accent colour stay as the fallback for anything the guide leaves empty.

A public page at /brand-guide explains what the guide controls, with a before and after of the same slide.

What this means for you: set your brand down once, and the slides your team and AI Studio make look like they belong to the same company.
