What "File Push" Means
When you update a slideshow in Yodeck, the platform re-encodes your content and pushes the new file to each registered device. Each player downloads and stores it locally, then plays it on loop. This works, but it introduces sync delays, brief gaps during transitions, and a dependency on each device having enough local storage and bandwidth.
InfoSlides works differently. Your PowerPoint is rendered once on the server and encoded into a continuous HLS stream. Every screen pulls from that stream directly. The same way a browser plays a live video. When you update content, the stream updates. Nothing is pushed to a device and nothing needs syncing, so old and new content have no gap between them.
